Zoya Cashmeres

Fall nail polish collections are truly my favorite! In August, I feel antsy for rich, dark hues and a change in my polish routine like no other time of the year.

I always look forward to seeing fall offerings from a specific handful of brands, too, and one of them is Zoya!

How about some swatches?!

Sailor is a beautiful navy blue creme, and she’s my favorite from the collection! Blue is such a very hot, on trend shade for fall, and Zoya Sailor has a beautiful tone.

Pepper is a brick red creme. “I’m a Pepper, you’re a Pepper…” Anyone else remember that jingle for Dr. Pepper?! Before I even looked at the name label for this polish, I thought, “Huh! This reminds me of the tube color of my Bonne Bell Dr. Pepper Lip Smacker from childhood!” Thanks for the trip down memory lane, Zoya!

Livingston is a beautiful red creme, a very true red. Stunning!

Louise is a chocolate brown creme. You know you’re hungry when you’re swatching nail polish and thinking of fondue chocolate, and dipping all sorts of treats in it like marshmallows, pineapple, strawberries…*drool*

Flynn is a camel brown nude creme, it’s a nice neutral pop of color against my fairer complexion, but it doesn’t wash me out!

Hunter is described by Zoya as a “dark sea creme.” It’s funny, most of the sea I see here in South Jersey, at the Jersey Shore, is brown/green. But not this type of beautiful green! So I’d go with more of a forest green to describe how it looks to me, on me.

Overall, these were easy to apply, opaque in two coats. I think if I had to play favorites, Sailor wins. Surprising for me, Livingston is a close second!

The collection, which retails for $48 in a pack, or individually for $8 a piece on the Zoya website, is a nice assortment of staples. I love the play on fabric (Cashmeres) because I tend to associate fall cremes with wearing a sweater. I don’t know why. Shimmers and glitters and such – those I don’t associate with sweaters as much as I do cremes.

Speaking of sweaters. As it quickly approaches, I’m not ready for fall to happen. Losing 60 + lbs. over the last several months means I am in need of a new fall/winter wardrobe. I’m officially a size smaller than I ever have been in my adult life, and the clothes I’ve been using from my attic only took me into summer with a size larger than I currently am. But the good news? Nail polish always fits!! And these Zoya polishes will coordinate with the clothes I have yet to buy.

What Cashmere polish jumps out at you?! Are YOU ready for fall?!
