WORLDS BEST DIETING TIPS
Prothinspo’s Hydroxylim/ Diet Slim…I chose this product because of two studies…. The first studied showed a
more rapid and effective weight loss than other diet products.This study set out to determine the efficacy of a
calcium/potassium salt of 60% HCA extract from Garcinia cambogia alone and in combination with niacin-bound
chromium and a standardized Gymnema Sylvestre Extract on weight-loss parameters in human volunteers. I
know blah blah, but In a double-blind fashion, 60 moderately obese individuals were randomly assigned to three
Group 1 received just calcium/potassium salt of 60% HCA extract from Garcinia cambogia.
Group 2 received the Garcinia cambogia extract, chromium polynicotinate, and Gymnema sylvestre extract.
Group 3 received a placebo. All subjects received a 2000 kcal/day diet, participated in supervised walking five
times per week, and took their assigned test supplements 3 times daily, 30 to 60 minutes before meals.
Test measurements were then performed throughout the study, evaluating changes in bodyweight, body mass
index (BMI), appetite, blood lipids, and markers of fat oxidation.
After 8 weeks, Group 1 lost an average of 10 pounds, Group 2 lost 12.54 pounds, and the placebo group lost 3.53
pounds. At 8 weeks, both Group 1 and 2 were found to have lost significantly more weight than the placebo group.
A reduction in appetite was also demonstrated in both Group 1 and 2. In addition, both Group 1 and 2 showed a
significant increase in indicators of fat breakdown. It was concluded that supplementation with the combination
of (-)– hydroxycitric acid (HCA-SX), niacin-bound chromium, and Gymnema Sylvestre Extract can help people with
weight management. Very Cool Huh? So there is more…
The next study was an 8 week study….In this 8-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled human trial,
30 moderately obese subjects were divided into three groups. Group 1 received just the calcium/potassium salt of
60% HCA extract from Garcinia cambogia. Group 2 received Garcinia cambogia extract, chromium polynicotinate,
and Gymnema sylvestre extract. Group 3 received a placebo. All subjects were placed on a 2000 kcal/day diet;
ingested the assigned test supplements 3 times daily, 30 to 60 minutes prior to meals; and participated in
supervised walking five times per week. At the end of 8 weeks, Group 1 lost, on average, 12.1 pounds. Group 2
lost, on average, 14.99 pounds. Group 3 lost, on average, 3.06 pounds. At the end of the study period, weight-loss
values in both Group 1 and Group 2 were significantly greater than in the placebo group. Moreover, the placebo
group showed a slight increase in food consumption, while the HCA groups both showed a significant reduction in
appetite compared to placebo. Based on the results from this study, it was concluded that the unique HCA extract
used in this trial, either alone or in combination with Gymnema Sylvestre Extract and niacin-bound chromium, is
effective in helping control appetite, increase fat oxidation, and promote weight loss.

Everything Anamaria said during last night’s episode indicated to me that she, at the very least, suffers from body
dysmorphia, in that she already weighs less than her body is naturally inclined, but still wants to be “leaner.”

Tips on Maintaining a Low Fat Diet
a. Buy a vegetable cooking spray canister and fill it up with olive oil. Spray your food instead of spreading and
dipping your food in butter and olive oil.
b. Buy lean cuts of beef. Look for the word “loin” when you purchase red meat.
c. Only buy luncheon meat that has less than 1 gram of fat per 1 ounce serving. Chicken breast, turkey breast and
lean roast beef are fine. Stay away from bologna and salami.
Buy tuna packed in water instead of oil.
d. Remove the skin from poultry and lightly spray olive oil before cooking.
e. Stay clear of bottled salad dressing. Experiment with your own healthy recipes and apply with a fork instead of
f. Brush your teeth or gargle with mouthwash. Taking a bad taste out of your mouth will also reduce the need to
snack on those forbidden foods!
g. Increase your exposure to natural light either through reading with a full spectrum light or taking a walk
outdoors. Aim for at least an hour a day…

‘Non-overweight women are vulnerable to the effects of stress are more likely to have excess abdominal fat, and
have higher levels of the stress hormone cortisol, a study conducted at Yale suggests. While past studies have
examined cortisol response in overweight women, this is the first study to show that lean women with abdominal
fat have exaggerated responses to cortisol. Abdominal fat is related to worse health, including greater risk of
heart disease and diabetes. “We also found that women with greater abdominal fat had more negative moods
and higher levels of life stress,” said Elissa S. Epel, Ph.D., lead investigator on the study she conducted while at
Yale’s psychology department. “Greater exposure to life stress or psychological vulnerability to stress may

Okay… So while traveling I figured I would talk about calories and nutrition labels… Depending on what country you
live in, you will find nutrition data listed in calories, kilojoules, or both.
A calorie is a unit of measure of the energy required to raise the temperature of 1 gram of water by 1°C. A joule is
a unit of electrical energy, commonly used in the physical sciences, equal to the work done when a current of one
ampere is passed through a resistance of one ohm for one second. Of course we don’t use energy to raise the
temperature of water or pass current through a resistance, but similar processes maintain our body temperature
and perform other bodily functions.
Because calories and joules are so small, when referring to food and energy expenditure it has become common
practice to refer to them in multiples of 1,000. The term for 1,000 calories is kilocalories or kcal, and the term for
1,000 joules is kilojoules or kJ.
1 calorie = 4.184 joules
1 kilocalorie (kcal) = 4.184 kilojoules (kJ)

All of your runs should start with a warm-up and end with a cooldown. Why are they so important? A good warm-
up dilates your blood vessels, ensuring that your muscles are well supplied with oxygen. It also raises your
muscles’ temperature for optimal flexibility and efficiency. By slowly raising your heart rate, the warm-up also
helps minimize stress on your heart when you start your run.
Just as critical, the cooldown keeps the blood flowing throughout the body. Stopping suddenly can cause light-
headedness because your heart rate and blood pressure drop rapidly. Winding down slowly allows them to fall

Tips on restriction.. Write down everything you eat and anything else you feel might be helpful to know. This will
allow you to measure progress and track patterns over time. Set yourself rules regarding food. Pick ones that you
know you can follow and stick with them. Then, keeping these, gradually add on more rules until your eating is
entirely under control. It’s hard to restrict yourself all the way at once, and more effective to do it in increments.
