Raspberry Protein Shake

Happy Friday, friends!

I hope you all had a great week. I feel like I say this quite frequently in my blog posts…but it’s been such a CRAZY week for me!! As you may know, I started my Master’s program last week so I am trying hard to adjust to a different schedule and ultimately trying to figure out what schedule works best for me! I will definitely have to work on improving my time-management skills as I am currently balancing an accelerated summer graduate-level class and blogging!

One thing that I have been SUPER guilty of lately has been not working out. I seriously feel so ashamed of myself! I have always been one to make time for the gym, no matter how busy life gets. I know that self-care is always the number one priority. I’m sad to say that I really haven’t been putting myself first lately. Today was the first time I’ve gotten sweaty in weeks. I knew that it was time to finally get my butt back in gear because I was starting to feel icky. My self-confidence was waning and I knew the only way to start feeling like my old self was to start exercising again. You know that feeling when you know you have just been lazy lately but it’s so hard to get back into the swing of things? That’s currently where I was at. I’m proud of myself for FINALLY taking that first step forward to get back into the gym and start putting myself first!

One thing that helped motivate me to get back into the gym was the new protein supplement made just for women! I was excited to try Slimquick Pure protein because it is French vanilla flavored (my absolute favorite!) and has a whopping 20 grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber per serving! Since my workouts consist of weight-lifting and running, I always try to heal my hard-working muscles by consuming a lot of protein after my workouts. I decided to get creative and make a raspberry protein shake with my Slimquick Pure Protein. It was seriously delicious!!! I loved the fruity flavor of my shake with a hint of vanilla. This was an excellent choice for a healthy breakfast. The protein and fiber kept me full for hours after!

1 scoop Slimquck Pure powder
1 cup of raspberries
1 cup of almond milk
½ cup vanilla greek yogurt
1 tsp honey

lend all ingredients together. Enjoy!

Although I am currently not trying to lose weight, I AM trying to keep my weight where it’s at. For all of you lovely ladies out there who are currently trying to lose weight, Slimquick Pure Protein is designed for women who would like to lose 3 times the weight! Slimquick recommends taking a serving in the morning with food and a serving 6 hours later with an afternoon meal or snack. Do not use 2 servings (40g) within a 24-hour period. As always, a healthy diet and exercise will give you the best results!

The other reason why I love Slimquick is because it contains natural ingredients. Only Slimquck Pure Protein is made with BioPure Green Tea, a natural extract that has been shown in a published clinical study to help overweight women lose 3 times the weight versus dieting alone, in just 13 weeks. It also contains whey protein, antioxidants, calcium, and other natural flavors. I love this, because I only like putting things in my body if I know that they are pure and natural. You can find Slimquick Pure at select Walmart locations. It also comes in Double chocolate flavor! Umm…YUM!!!! This is just one creative way that I used my Slimquick Pure protein supplement. How else would you incorporate Slimquick Pure Protein into your diet? Leave me a comment below!

I’m so happy that I pushed myself today and that I am finally getting back into the workout routine. I hope you all make one small step this weekend towards improving one aspect of your life. Please let me know of any of your upcoming goals that you are working to achieve! Have a great weekend, loves! Talk to you soon!
