This post is sponsored by Basic Invite. I only share authentic, true opinions on this blog. Thank you for supporting brands that make Inspiration Indulgence possible!

Hey friends!

I’m super excited about today’s post! The other day I asked on my Twitter and Snapchat for reader input as to blog post ideas, and one of my dear readers suggested I give y’all a wedding planning update!

Yay!

First off, the exciting news! I pretty much have all of my vendors booked. In addition, I bought my dress (cue fangirl moment) and I had my first fitting a few days ago! I’m absolutely SWOONING. In the meantime, I’m excited to share with you my latest accomplishment in the planning stages, ordering my save the dates!

My #1 Save-the-Date Choice

I did a little research in choosing what brand to create my save the dates through, and I just was floored with how wonderful Basic Invite is. The website was easy to use, fun and AFFORDABLE! I’ve been eying up the magnet save the dates for months now because I think that magnets are a great way for people to remember your special day. It’s so easy to have something attached to the fridge so you don’t have  to worry about anyone accidentally throwing your save the date away!

I don’t mean to brag, but how cute is this? At Basic Invite, I was able to create save the dates online within a matter of 10 minutes! The invite was $.93/ a magnet and it includes the envelope. Honestly, I’ve putzed around on TONS of photo upload websites throughout my life, and I had absolutely no glitches and an easy, painless experience.

So WHY ELSE do I love Basic Invite?!

  • First of all, like I said, the website was SO easy to use. Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. Once you select a design you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options (and 40 different colors for envelopes!) So, you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it – like, even down to the smallest detail! For those of you who have researched your save the date brands, you’ll know how rare this is.
  • Basic Invite also offers custom samples -it is one of the few save the date brands that allows customers the ability to order a printed sample of their actual invitation so you can see exactly how it will print as well as the paper quality before you ever have to place an order for 500 invitations. This is great for those indecisive, detail-oriented people like me!
  • Basic Invite doesn’t just have save the dates! You can find everything from save the dates to wedding invitations and enclosure cards, wedding menus, wedding programs and even matching thank you cards! Feel free to check out these awesome sample wedding invitations! Basic Invite also has elegant bridal shower invitations and TONS of other sweet things.

One of the best parts about the wedding planning process is watching everything unfold and come together. Getting my save the dates in the mail a few days ago was definitely one of those moments where I realized, holy shiz! This is really happening! I’m so excited. If only my big day wasn’t still so far away!

Thanks for letting me share my excitement with you! Happy wedding planning, babes!
