People ask me everyday what was the strongest product that I have taken to lose weight the fastest. I took Prothinspo’s Hydroxylim/
Diet Slim…I chose this product because of two studies…. The first studied showed a more rapid and effective weight loss than other
diet products.This study set out to determine the efficacy of a calcium/potassium salt of 60% HCA extract from Garcinia cambogia
alone and in combination with niacin-bound chromium and a standardized Gymnema Sylvestre Extract on weight-loss parameters in
human volunteers. I know blah blah, but In a double-blind fashion, 60 moderately obese individuals were randomly assigned to three
Group 1 received just calcium/potassium salt of 60% HCA extract from Garcinia cambogia.
Group 2 received the Garcinia cambogia extract, chromium polynicotinate, and Gymnema sylvestre extract.
Group 3 received a placebo. All subjects received a 2000 kcal/day diet, participated in supervised walking five times per week, and
took their assigned test supplements 3 times daily, 30 to 60 minutes before meals.
Test measurements were then performed throughout the study, evaluating changes in bodyweight, body mass index (BMI), appetite,
blood lipids, and markers of fat oxidation.
After 8 weeks, Group 1 lost an average of 10 pounds, Group 2 lost 12.54 pounds, and the placebo group lost 3.53 pounds. At 8 weeks,
both Group 1 and 2 were found to have lost significantly more weight than the placebo group. A reduction in appetite was also
demonstrated in both Group 1 and 2. In addition, both Group 1 and 2 showed a significant increase in indicators of fat breakdown. It
was concluded that supplementation with the combination of (-)– hydroxycitric acid (HCA-SX), niacin-bound chromium, and Gymnema
Sylvestre Extract can help people with weight management. Very Cool Huh? So there is more…
The next study was an 8 week study….In this 8-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled human trial, 30 moderately obese
subjects were divided into three groups. Group 1 received just the calcium/potassium salt of 60% HCA extract from Garcinia
cambogia. Group 2 received Garcinia cambogia extract, chromium polynicotinate, and Gymnema sylvestre extract. Group 3 received
a placebo. All subjects were placed on a 2000 kcal/day diet; ingested the assigned test supplements 3 times daily, 30 to 60 minutes
prior to meals; and participated in supervised walking five times per week. At the end of 8 weeks, Group 1 lost, on average, 12.1
pounds. Group 2 lost, on average, 14.99 pounds. Group 3 lost, on average, 3.06 pounds. At the end of the study period, weight-loss
values in both Group 1 and Group 2 were significantly greater than in the placebo group. Moreover, the placebo group showed a slight
increase in food consumption, while the HCA groups both showed a significant reduction in appetite compared to placebo. Based on
the results from this study, it was concluded that the unique HCA extract used in this trial, either alone or in combination with
Gymnema Sylvestre Extract and niacin-bound chromium, is effective in helping control appetite, increase fat oxidation, and promote

Everybody understands push ups and sit-ups. They’re simple, straightforward
exercises. But to get a shapely and fit looking body you need to get beyond the simpler
exercises and put more muscles to work. Dieting can only take you half way through to
your goal. The rest has to come from exercises that burn out fat and build stronger
So, one good exercise routine that can be easily performed at home by anyone is the
squats. In order to perform squats, you have to put your hands on the floor, shoulder
width apart, with the legs stretched, just like in the normal push up position. From this
position, you must bring both legs forward, underneath your torso, by bending the
knees and thrusting forward. The third step is to return your legs to the original
position with the same quick, powerful movements.
The exercise can be performed by bringing the right leg forward, in a position that
resembles that of a runner at the start line. Then, thrust both legs simultaneously, the
right leg going back and the left leg coming forward to replace the right one. And
thrust again, bringing the right leg forward and pushing the left leg back.
This exercise routine is meant to work out the glutes, the hamstrings and the quads,
with some benefits for the triceps. Be careful not to trip and fall and make sure your
hands are firmly keeping the whole body in the correct position. Perform some 15-20
reps every workout session and you’ll be showing some great legs to anyone who
cares to look. Ladies are impressed by men with muscular legs and asses and you don’
t need me to tell you how men feel about women with good-looking legs.
Remember that exercises must be helped by keeping a close eye on the food intake.
Junk food, sodas and snacks have to go and fruits, vegetables and other nutritional
and healthy foods must take their place……
Keep tempting foods out of reach
One way to overcome tempting foods is to keep them out of your immediate
environment. When tempting foods are in your cupboards, desk drawer, and
elsewhere, you are in a constant battle with yourself. Instead of constantly struggling
with temptation, create supportive food environment. Do this by limiting the foods you
buy that are high in fat and carbohydrates and increasing the amount of healthier
foods you have around.
Learn your emotional eating triggers
Everyone has individual emotional factors that trigger their desire to eat. Try to identify
your weak spots. Ask yourself: “What environmental cues trigger my desire for food?”
Keeping a food diary can help you gain insight into your triggers. For 14 days or more,
record what you eat, how much you eat, when, where, and the reasons why. Look for

Create a plan for dealing with temptation
After learning what situations, foods, and routines tempt you, formulate a plan for
dealing with them. If your home is filled with temptation, discard the foods that tempt
you. Sometimes this is the hardest part. Creatively storing food can be helpful too.
When wrapped properly, many foods can be frozen or tucked into a cupboard to be
enjoyed later. An easy trick is to stow the food away in individual servings, this way you
can take out a small amount of the food when you really crave it. This strategy helps
some people really limit their intake of carbohydrates, fats and calories.

Here are a few common scenarios and examples of how to alter your behavior:
1. Overcoming the munchies whilst preparing the dinner
You come home at 6 p.m. and you’re really hungry. You immediately grab a bag of chips
to eat while you’re making dinner.
•Modify your environment by not having the chips available. Think ahead. The night
before, prepare cut-up veggies to munch on while you cook.
2. Hungry on the way home – avoid the temptation of fast food
You’re leaving work or out running errands and you’re starving, so you stop at a fast
food restaurant on the way home.
•Before you leave, pack a 100-calorie snack that travels well with about 15-30 grams of

Once you start eating ice cream, you can’t stop.
•Buy the smallest container available. When you want to have some, measure out a ½-
cup portion. Better yet, don’t buy ice cream. When you’re really craving it, plan on an
ice cream outing as a special treat, and then bike or walk to go get it.
4. Avoiding overeating in restaurants
•Tell the restaurant to put half your meal in a doggie bag before they serve your food.

Co-workers leave lots of candy on their desks—and you simply can’t resist.
•Take an alternate route and avoid their desks. You can also try giving them a covered,

When you’re grocery shopping don’t forget to pick up bags of baby carrots, string
cheese, nuts, fresh fruit, single serving packs of applesauce, light yogurt, and whole-
grain crackers. Having healthy portable snacks around will help you avoid less healthy
vending machines, convenience stores and fast-food options that are especially
tempting when you’re hungry.
