Cosmoprof 2022: Jessica Cosmetics

Jessica Cosmetics has become one of my favorite brands over the last year. The polish formula, ease of application and thoughtfully themed collections have won me over.

At Cosmoprof North America (held in Las Vegas, July 22-24), I stopped and learned what’s launching from the brand. And it’s all gorgeous!

Let’s start with fall!

Jessica’s fall collection is called “Spicy Dreams,” and every color is rich and reminiscent of falling leaves and sparkling cider!

Here’s a couple of my favorites so far:

That’s Pumpkin Delight on the left and Gingersnap on the right. I can’t wait to swatch this whole collection for you! I do, however, have a quick swatch sneak peek for you of four of the six colors…

From left to right: Pumpkin Delight, Gingersnap, Brown Sugar, Crimson Tattoo. I am going to swatch Gingersnap next to OPI’s Warm and Fozzie from last holiday to see if that’s a dupe. And Brown Sugar…with its pink shimmer…oh. my. gosh. These are beautiful, rich colors! They should be available soon.

Jessica is also making mini kits out of existing colors:

There’s also duo sets coming called Top It Off, which pairs a crackle with a polish:

For holiday, Jessica is releasing Glamarama:

Here are a couple glitters from this display that are stunning:

Left is Glitterati, right is Platinum Wishes. Hello!

Also coming in Jessica’s nail polish line is Color the Cure, Jessica’s offering for breast cancer awareness (it’s an existing shade), and an 18K gold top coat, which Jessica originally created 30 years ago, according to the rep I spoke with.

Exciting news for the brand is the launch of a new product – Fusion 2.5.2 – in about two months!

Fusion 2.5.2 is the latest in gel technology – it’s long-lasting without the UV light! It’s name comes from the concept of “it’s on in five minutes, off in two!” Jessica said they think this product will be huge for pedicures, and I couldn’t agree more. I hate doing my toes, and how fast every polish chips, no matter how great it is (unless it’s a gel/Shellac etc)! So I can’t wait to see this concept brought to life!

Before my visit ended, I got the opportunity to say hello to Jessica herself! I asked her where she gets the inspiration for her collections. She said that she follows trends, and picks up on what designers are doing. Some of her favorites? “Armani, I wear a lot of Armani. Escada, Chanel…” A woman with taste!

Her favorite Jessica nail color? Shocking Red. “I love reds,” she said.

So is there something you’re looking forward to from these new products and colors? Share your thoughts below! I’m most excited about the holiday glitters, and pretty much ALL of the Spicy Dreams collection! I’m ready for fall!!
