If you want to dress like a celebrity at the races, look no further than internationally renowned milliner Melissa Jackson, whose headpieces have featured on the likes of Jennifer Hawkins, Rebecca Judd and Delta Goodrem.

JILL & JACK

With more than 100 winning headpieces worn by clients at Fashions on the Field, Jill Humphries is one of Melbourne’s most talented and highly sought-after milliners.

Regularly designing headpieces for Melbourne’s hottest celebrities, Humphries says it takes her two to six weeks to collaborate with a client before the final piece comes together for an event. Taking her strong sculptural designs straight to the top she has an impressive list of awards up her sleeve, as the 2014 Myer Millinery Award winner and runner up in the world-wide Queen’s Jubilee millinery competition.

MURLEY & CO

Ranging from traditional millinery shapes to more edgy abstract pieces using vintage lace, latex blooms & parasisal straws, designer Carla Murley created a bespoke millinery business from her Beaumaris home studio.

Buy one of Carla’s limited edition ready to wear pieces or have a custom design created specifically for your Spring Racing Carnival wardrobe.  If you’re not in the market for a long term investment, at Murley & Co you can also opt to hire a headpiece for the big day. Take note ladies.
